James Shuster

James Shuster is Web Programmer in the IT field with more than 20 years experience. He has successfully managed team efforts for companies such as; Occidental Petroleum, MGM, United Press International, Akamai Technologies, Harvard Business School and Oversee.net.

He has worked as a Network Developer for NBC.com, QA tester with Bonfire.com, with fly.me and as a PHP programmer with Popmodal, (now closed).

He was Agile Scrum Master for 4 programming teams at Oversee.net where he also taught Excel, MySql and Search Engine Optimization. He was Chief Video Content Manager for the 5th largest worldwide social media online site. As admin for one of the largest domain registrar's in the world, nameking.com with three million domain names, Mr. Shuster handled legal issues and trained new staff.

In film post-production, he authored and produced DVD's and blu-ray at producerelease.com. In computer support role, he led a department for MGM and worked in a team for Castle Rock Entertainment, Boss Films, Republic Films and California State Motion Picture Council. As a writer, he worked with story development to films produced at Disney and Warner Brothers.

James also worked as a computer network consultant in Boston with contracts for Harvard Business School, MIT, Akamai Technologies, BBN and was Sales Manager for 3D Maya animation software and hardware sales for the largest distributor in New England, greateasterntech.com and sun.com. In Maui, he developed 3D VRML Maui online at the Maui High Performance Computer Center.

He has a BSc. diploma from City University in London and ran an European tour business in Paris and Amsterdam as well as being a stringer photojournalist for UPI, Agency French Press and a US National Product Manager for Leica Cameras.

James currently works as a QA engineer for online travel sales and a Web Programmer using PHP, css, MySQL AJAX, Perl, DRM and all video formats. He also supports Windows Server installations for small businesses and does computer training.

His other interests are piano, travel, photography and studying languages; German, French and Italian.
